About Me

I am a WA certified Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 10 plus years of experience. I am from the east coast and earned my Masters in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Smith College, School for Social Work in 2012. After working in the field for several years I continued my education with the Northwest Psychoanalytic Institute & Society (NPSI) Fundamentals of Psychoanalysis classes and completed PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) Level I training. 

I have enjoyed working with individuals, of all backgrounds, from 5 to 95 years old in a number of different settings including community mental health, community centers and hospice. My training and experience are in psychodynamic psychotherapy. This means that when I am working with individuals or couples I am interested in understanding how the past is showing up in the present and healing from the root of where a problem began. 

My grandmother was one of the loves of my life and I am passionate about aging, older adulthood and end of life. I have spent my career working in aging and understanding the developmental needs and tasks of this season of life. I also have vast experience working with family caregivers/people caring for adult loved ones who are dependent on them. In addition to my private practice, I work part time as a Clinical Director for Sound Generations in Seattle.
